서울대학교 디자인 전공의 교수 및 학부생, 대학원생 총 22명은 밀라노 디자인위크 기간인 2024년 4월 동안 Milan Design Week 2024 SaloneSatellite와 Hello from SNU DESIGN : 140th Anniversary of Korea-Italy Diplomatic Relations 두 개의 전시에 참여합니다.
A total of 22 professors, undergraduate students, and graduate students majoring in design at Seoul National University will participate in two exhibitions, Milan Design Week 2024 SaloneSatellite and Hello from SNU DESIGN: 140th Anniversary of Korea-Italy Diplomatic Relations, during Milan Design Week in April 2024.

Milan Design Week 2024 SalonSatellite는 젊은 디자이너들이 급변하는 시대에서 디자인 관점으로 사물을 창조하는 실험의 장입니다. 이번 전시는 풍경이 되어 묵묵히 정지해 있는 것이 미덕인 전통적 가구와 달리, 꿈틀거리는 듯한 때때로 실제로 움직이는 생동력 있는 가구들로 구성된 것이 특징입니다. 올해 25주년을 맞이한 밀라노 디자인위크 SalonSatellite에 서울대학교는 세번째 참가로, 앞으로도 해외에서 본교 학생들의 디자인 역량을 발표하고, 세계 각국의 디자이너 및 디자인 전공 학생들과 교류할 수 있는 기회가 주어지길 기대합니다.
Milan Design Week 2024 SalonSatellite is an experimental venue where young designers create objects from a design perspective in an era of rapid change. Unlike traditional furniture, where it is a virtue to remain silent in the form of scenery, this exhibition features live-powered furniture that seems to be wriggling at times and actually moves. Seoul National University is participating for the third time in Milan Design Week SalonSatellite, which marks its 25th anniversary this year, and we hope that it will have the opportunity to present our students' design capabilities overseas and interact with designers and design majors from all over the world.

Hello from SNU DESIGN: 140th Anniversary of Korea-Italy Diplomatic Relations is co-hosted by Seoul National University's Department of Design and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Milan to mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Italy. Department professors and Ph.D. researchers majoring in design will display their works together to promote the timeliness and vision of Korean design, and contribute to promoting design and cultural exchanges between Italy and Korea.
